The philosopher Frank Cunningham has died in Vancouver, aged 81. I was lucky enough to have him as a next door neighbour in Toronto. I loved talking with him about his commitment to so many good causes.
A fearless voice for social justice; a city planned for citizens not developers. He wrote in the tradition of CB Macpherson – the topic of his last book. Frank was a model of what a philosopher can bring to the table on human rights and public administration. A great loss.
